Status: ...outlining
An original spec screenplay. The Moon in the year 2097 has been split down its center. Not by any country's allegiance, but instead by its dual uses -- half of the satellite is the most advanced multinational laboratory in existence, a burgeoning hub for Earth's nubile exploration of space and a joint military base for the world's superpowers. The other half, however, is a classified quadruple-maximum security prison, home to the most dangerous, vile criminals once on Earth. When the scientists decide to test a breakthrough drug on the prison population, escape becomes a necessity for those under lock and key. And that escape starts with the three mile stretch of vast open space between the prison and the lab. Survive that, and it's all down from there.
